Ron Jackson started in the construction industry as a teenager. It was an after school job cleaning up scraps and waste on home builders sites at the beginning. He then went on to work in the summers as a framers helper and then progressed to a full member of a framing crew building homes in Central Texas.Through the years and the ups and downs in the industry since the 1980’s he has worked at most labor positions on a job site ( Framing, Electrical, Plumbing, and Trim Carpentry) in both commercial and residential construction. Gaining a wide variety of skills and experience in the home building process.After returning to school to study architecture he has spent the last 25 plus years, designing custom homes and remodels in the Texas market, training and designing homes for some of the premier residential design firms in the Houston area.In 2018, Ron opened R.B.J. Architectural as a way to bring together his multiple decades of training in residential design, and the construction industry , to form a firm that would service home owners and custom home builders, with this unique combination of skills. His vision was to form a small boutique residential design firm that works in concert with the homeowner, and the builder to bring the most out of each residential project, to maximize the potential of each home while staying within the client’s budget.
