“Solar X installed 3M Safe and Secure window film on all of my home’s windows and door glass in 2008. The film was put to the test on Sept. 26, 2016. I came home from work to find that the backdoor’s glass was shattered by an attempted burglary. The door’s glass is a two piece assembly. The first glass was shattered. The second piece of glass was also shattered but held together by the 3M Safe and Secure film. The film not only held the glass but prevented the “would-be” burglar from entering my home. The film prevented any additional damage to my home. The police officer said that the film was an obstacle that the burglar had not expected. The 3M Safe and Secure film will be installed on my replacement glass. ”
